Hello Readers,

Today I'm updating with News and just general updates. I'm trying not to write about my foot surgery detail too much because of my separate blog specifically about my foot surgery. So I'll give you a brief update on here like last time. I had my 1 week doctors appointment today! Which means taking off all the fat Padding they put around my foot! Yay! Free foot! Everything is healing good he said it looked great and because I didn't have the Tendon surgery it's much easier to bend my ankle! YIPPIE! I can already do it without problems. last time it was REALLY hard to get it in 90 degrees.

BAAAD news: Because it snowed (which happened before my surgery too) I slipped going up the porch steps..... TERRIBEL, TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE experience... I ended up almost putting half my weight on my foot.. not quite though mostly just on the toes which is good.. Either way the doctor said that I couldn't hurt it. In the sense of  breaking bones or anything because of How many screws and plates I have in my foot. BUUUUUUT I'm in a crazy insane amount of pain.... sighh... Accidents happen I guess... however, I really hope it doesn't snow ever again.. :( It's making life hard.

GENERAL UPDATES--

Life has been pretty awesome other than surgery. I've had visitors almost every day! except like one! Which crazy!! and A lot different then last time. I feel so supported and so loved. I have some really great people in my life and I think that last surgery was just a really bad timing because I had just got married and moved to sandy and wasn't settled in married life and yadda yadda! I'm gong to post some fun pictures.

Day One--Foot Surgery #2

Goood morning everyone!

So I did Deactivate my Facebook on Sunday I kept it so people can still tag me. I have my own personal reasons for doing it. It's just better when I'm sitting at home all day every day sometimes mostly alone. I'd just would rather Not have facebook. Mainly for the same reasons I wrote before--

WHY I DELETED FACEBOOK.

So anyway Surgery was Yesterday Of course I have the blog about my foot surgery HERE. But I'll give everyone a brief description so that you don't have to read my drawn out Surgery blog. haha I love having a separate blog though. I love that I'm helping people deal with this Major Major surgery.

So Here is a cool picture showing my Right foot and Left yesterday before surgery. Sense My right foot is fixed.

It's crazy how straight my right foot is now!

I thought everyone would love to see that! I  do. It's really awesome to see the difference, and the proof of how it worked!

Okay back to yesterday. I got there at 9.15 and got everything filled out and the IV put in and the doctors came to talk to me then took me back at 10.30! Which was AMAZING having it so early. It was very smooth compared to my last one! Thank goodness. and The doctors and nurses were really fun all of them! Which also helped! It was at the NEW IHC hospital in Murray! All the IHC hospitals are nice but this one was really nice. 

Conversation with anesthesiology--

Kristy "My husband was joking around last night saying that your job is to get people to as close to death as possible"

DR. Pace " (awkward chuckle) Well... not in your case really....."

Kristy "Oh no no no it was a joke! but (points to dad) he had heart surgery"

DR. Pace " Well that's closer!"

Everyone Laughs! it was fantastic!

So I got put to rest and woke up feeling amazing about my choice to get my feet done and that it was over!!!  Then the best part was that my dad was there my sister came!!! which surprised me but it was amazing! and my friend A called my dad to see how I was before I was awake then called me when I got home and she came over to visit!! It was amazing having so much support this time and I couldn't be more grateful for the people who are in my life! The pain hasn't been nearly as bad as last time! having only the two surgeries is so much better! and they got it in the boot this time! Which last time , because of the extra bone I had two procedures on either side of my foot and the foot was TOO swollen for 3 weeks after surgery before I could wear the boot! And the boot is lighter and more comfortable then  the bandaging last time! so I'm so happy about that. it makes it a lot more manageable I think.

The Second Time Around.

Hello Blogger friends!

Soooo. I'm getting surgery for the second time on my Right foot in a total of 2 days.

January 9th 2011 at 9:15am.

I'm kind of scared right now.

It finally hit me today that I'm going threw this again... yeah It's great that the first one is over but I never really wrote the hardest parts on here. or how I honestly truthfully felt. This one I think will be better. I already have people who have promised to come over this time and I'm so extremely grateful. Last time it was really hard because I was supposed to be in my "honey moon" stage in my marriage so I'm sure my friends maybe stayed away for that. I'm not sure but it wasn't... and I was alone a lot.

Anyway I'm just ready for it to be done... We are both REALLY excited for it to be over finally. After this I'll feel like I can really get my life back. or have a better idea of where to go and look forward.

Surgery is scary though. Luckily everything went so well last time and we had no complications that I really haven't had any worries until like an hour ago. I don't know why but I just kind of got scared, sad, worried.

I'm really glad it's in the morning! I just found out the time today and it means clayton can come and be with me before I go into surgery! I'm also getting surgery in one of the nicest hospitals in Utah right now. It was just barely finished being built which is awesome and my doctor did an amazing job last time and I trust him.

Sigh.. Okay, I'm done now.
