Pawz with a Z.

So my friend S has this beautiful cat right? well the situation at their home made it so they couldn't keep her anymore. Of course that tugged at my heart strings and a week later i got the guts to bring it up to clayton! Guess what he said? He said he wanted to take her! YIPPIE!

So on Friday night we went down and Picked up this beautiful kitty:

Isn't she just the cutiest thing ever! Well other than Scratch! of course! Well so the day that clayton said he would take her that night we sat down and looked up cat names. If you guys haven't noticed yet I have a sort of theme with my cat names. My first cat back when I was four was named Meow Meow. Yes I know I was for but growing up she was the best cat ever! She lived until I was 19 Years old. So when me and Clayton got our next cat I decided I loved the "cat related" names. So we named our first kitty together Scratch! [yes the exclamation mark is apart of her name!] So naturally when we picked this pretty kitty up we already had a name for her! which is the title of this post Pawz with a Z :].

I love my kitties and I'm perfectly okay with the fact that some people think I'm a freak for doing so. But my cat meowmeow lived for so long and loved me the entire time so I think I'm doing something right!

So the night we brought her she was a scared little kitty. She is about 5-6 months old I believe and she has been with her mom the whole time. So she hid a lot that night. Then the next morning she was out on the couch. Scratch! has only ever hissed once the whole time we've had her and so she seemed scared of Pawz for the first day because she has been hissing at her. As cats do when they meet new cats!

Yesterday though she was really warming up to me and clayton and today! amazing she has been out and about wandering around. Still hissing at Scratch! but I'll show you a little video showing that both of them are way more curious and playful then scared or hateful! I don't care if I just made a long post about my cats. I love them and i'm okay with that. :]

Oh and we also got Pawz to eat and drink today! You know what kitties are like in a new place. I'm surprised it only took really one day to get her to eat and drink and wander :]. Not only that but she is also very lovey too me and clayton already! :]

Beautiful

Today I had my second interview! WOOOOEEE. So nervous and just praying i'd get this job. I know most people are probably like "why are you making such a big deal out of a calling center job." Because I'd probably be thinking that if someone else was.

But With my situation this job is going to be perfect and it's something I'm interested in doing. I'm not saying that I have the highest hopes that this job is going to be AMAZING but, It's a good job. It's a sit down job, good pay, great hours, possibly good job opportunities in the future. I enjoyed the people who interviewed me.

I know what I'm getting into I know it's a calling job. But for where I am right now in my life it's perfect. So i'm happy! My family is also very glad I got this job which just supports me and I appreciate that so much.

God works in mysterious ways and I truely believe everything happens for a reason.

Hey,

It's me again.

I really never know how to start my blog post. Just like I don't know how to start my Journal entries. Oh well, I never plan on being a writer.

So, The last 4 weeks I've been job hunting like a mad [wo]man! It's been rough because I know I'm a hard worker and any company I work for I'll always do my very best. Well things seem to be looking up. I had an interview at Journeys in the mall last Thursday and the store manager seemed to really like me. Then I had the weekend to talk to Clayton about it because they were going to call on Monday. We talked and decide that maybe the best job for me right now is a sitting job. Bank, Calling center, etc. So I started yesterday applying to come sit down positions and well one called back and I got an interview today! woohoo. It's always amazing when you get an interview right away. However, They do two interviews so tomorrow i'm going in at 10 am and doing my second interview.

I'm so nervous it's insane. I feel less nervous after researching the product and some other tech like things. So I'm really hopeful! I also heard that they have a option of working from home after you train! Which for my soon to be situation (next foot surgery) that would be amazing! Luckily though sense it's my left foot I should be driving a lot soon and even if I had to I could try to get a couple weeks off.

Now that I'm done blabbing. I really enjoyed the interview today the lady was incredibly nice and she complemented me a lot. She also said something that stuck out to me.. we were chatting up our old retail jobs and she said "oh well things happen for a reason." I don't know if you remember but a month ago I mentioned how I strongly believe things happen for a reason. Most people don't talk about it like that and honestly i've never really had a conversation about it. So it was just something that kind of felt like a sign. However weird that may be.

I'm going to go to that interview with No regrets. With everything I am. I know that sounds drastic but the last interviews I've had haven't been my finest moments. I don't have very much belief in myself but why not? I"m honest, hard working, motivated.

Ps. Journeys called me today and Told me they want me on their team. So it's kind of a nice feeling to know I might be wanted by two companys.

Oh yes,

This is the long awaited HONEYMOON post. I finally spent a good 3 hours scanning in the "good photos" from the honey moon. As most of you know we had a Polaroid camera at our wedding so we used that for most the honey moon :]. Why? because they are awesome! yes.

sooo here we go. lets START :D

Alright these are the pictures of the Night of. This is the Themed hotel room we paid for the first night! It's a Train combost! wooot it was beautiful and then as you see that's the breakfast they brought us in the morning! It was fantastic! I highly recommend doing it for "getaway" they have amazing rooms and they look so much better in person then online! :]

Next Up: ADVENTURE TO SAN DIEGO!

Now these pictures are 1: i was having trouble figuring out the camera settings. and 2: These are showing how ANNOYED i was that I had Glitter EVERYWHERE in my car so We had to VACUUM it PRONTO. Which we did as soon as we left the Hotel :D. PS. i still have glitter coming out my air vents! love you lauren.

And this is the Cheese Stake place we ate at after vacuuming the car :D. DELI SH and our first real meal as a married couple :D.

And these photos are depicting our journey to San Diego. First up the Code Red mountain dew to get me threw the drive! then the Magazine we bought because it was ALL about justin bieber For me to read :D. Then oh no... The Traffic was stopped FOREVER getting to California because of the fruit law... so thats the car break lights and me and clayton very bored... luckily we had books on tape from Borders :Dwoooot.

And now after our looong awaited journey we finally got to our HONEY MOON SPOT :D this is us the next day going for a walk along the not very impressive boardwalk. hahaha but still fun.

Naturally our many pictures in the hotel room :]. Enjoying california? lol. We did leave more often then most i'm sure. but i just like how happy we are!

Then this is our second day to the Beach were we actually put our swim suites on. However it was march so the water was FREEZING if you care to see those pictures let me know. but I'm not a fan of them i look fat. hahah (i took us going into the water on my digital camera).

We went to the San Diego ZOO. Fun stuff! i have a lot of photos from there but zoo pictures are slightly boring. hahah Also We only went threw half the zoo... because I kristy was retarded and thought that because it was california it would be humid... So i didn't bring my allergic meds.. so i had problems at the zoo. I'm allergic to moss and mold btw.

This is us when we got home haha.. at like 6 am because I didn't want to stay any longer.. i missed our kitty and our bed! so we hoped in the car at 5pm and drove threw the night.. well calyton drove .

So that is the end of our Honey moon. Those are all the presents we received subtract the money gifts. We are very grateful for the gifts! thanks to everyone who came! I'm also scanning in my guestbook for everyone and posting it on facebook :] coming soon. also that red thing is a quesadilla maker fantastic gift! so was everyone elses!

LDS General Conference 181th

Thought I would share my two favorite  Talks from the Three sessions I watched.

Here is the first one.

I loved the explanation of why the Book of Mormon is so important and why it is not a separate book from the Bible.

And this was My all time favorite from this Octobers conference

This talk really hit home for me. I was brought to tears. This to me is such an important message. If anyone else learned anything from either of these talks I'd love to have a conversation. I don't feel comfortable writing my deep feelings on my blog. However, I will say that I enjoyed so much watching these and all of conference. 

Had such a great time with my friend Ausia and Thom and their sweet baby girl! They didn't have basic cable so they came over and brought some dip for the break! I love them and their beautiful daughter.
